DK and Hannes

Sorry, I didn't get any video of Animal Collective as I was waiting to hear a song that I knew everyone would appreciate. Unfortunately, they played an abhorrent setlist and I was very disappointed with their choice of songs. Stage presence was decent, but definitely not the same three piece Animal Collective I remember witnessing... but anyways I have some good music for you to consume.
Dallas K's new original mix "Crush" sounds to be pretty badass if I may say so myself. You can usually see him live at Riot in UCF's Dungeon Lounge.

Another enjoyable listen is this remix of Alicia keys that Hannes Fischer has posted for your hungry ears:

Saturday in Solace

Fans of Sigur Ros, Explosions in the Sky, Godspeed You! Black Emperor will really enjoy the excellence of Vampillia's recent release form Important Records, Alchemic Hearts. Vampillia is from Osaka, Japan and includes 3 vocalists, an orchestra, 2 violins, 2 guitars, turntables, bass and piano. On this track you can hear Jarboe, the former singer of Swans . They really put everything out there to allow this song to ring so magnificently. I highly suggest actually listening to this piece in its entirety! (Especially 10:45-17:00) Alchemic Hearts is composed of two 24 minute tracks and is available HERE. And if you have not already, check out the links to Sigur Ros, Godspeed, and Explosions. I will also suggest: Mum, This Will Destroy You, Jonsi (of Sigur Ros)
Here is an excerpt from the second track, Land:
